Kugel has become our supplier of choice for both refurbished and new ballscrews, we originally sourced new ballscrews from the original ballscrew manufacturer however following extensive collaboration with Kugel they supplied new replacement ballscrews for a machine project, the ballscrews worked better than the originals improving surface finish and reducing circularity errors to under 0.010mm. We now use Kugel for both refurbished and new ballscrew supply.

A wide ranging ball stock with bespoke and specialist equipment enable us to offer unique ball screw repair and refurbishment services which include ball nut regrinding, rapid replacement manufacture and full torque testing.

Rapid Ball Screw Manufacture

Proud to be the UK's only precision ground ball screw manufacturer, Kugel Motion performs all of the key competencies in-house including ball nut internal thread grinding and ball screw external grinding, ensuring that we are able to deliver rapid replacement ball screws when you need them most.

We hold a range of quality rolled and ground shaft on stock as well as hardened shaft ready for non-standard pitch thread grinding, together with billets of raw material for ball nuts and transfer systems. All ball nut and transfer design, turning, 4 axis milling and internal thread grinding are performed in-house enabling us to be in full control of the delivery schedule.
