Kugel has become our supplier of choice for both refurbished and new ballscrews, we originally sourced new ballscrews from the original ballscrew manufacturer however following extensive collaboration with Kugel they supplied new replacement ballscrews for a machine project, the ballscrews worked better than the originals improving surface finish and reducing circularity errors to under 0.010mm. We now use Kugel for both refurbished and new ballscrew supply.

An extensive network of specialist suppliers and part stockists, coupled with in-house metrology, turning, cylindrical grinding and 4-axis milling equipment allow us to respond quickly to your requirements.

A wide ranging ball stock with bespoke and specialist equipment enable us to offer unique ball screw repair and refurbishment services which include ball nut regrinding, rapid replacement manufacture and full torque testing.

Journal Reclamation

As part of our ball screw repair service, we offer journal reclamation. This service brings the bearing journal on your ball screw assembly back to the original tollerances using a chrome coating which is ground back to be within the original specification.

This process is often faster and more cost effective than a new assembly.
